Configuration
The plugin has a short settings page in WordPress. Everything that changes the quotes themselves is on your WooCommerce module page in the Transdirect members area.
Plugin settings in WordPress
Section titled “Plugin settings in WordPress”Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping and click Transdirect Shipping. These settings apply to every shipping zone.

| Force selection from list | Rejects checkout when an Australian city and postcode pair is not in the list. Works only while Show suburb autocomplete is on. |

Each product can also have a Boxes per unit value (in the product’s Shipping tab, and on each variation), for products that ship as more than one carton. The cart quantity is multiplied by it when quoting.
Settings in the members area
Section titled “Settings in the members area”Log in to the members area, go to Settings > Integrations, and click Settings on your WooCommerce store’s row. The module page has four tabs: Overview, Shipping rules, Packaging and Activity. Click Save changes after editing.
The sections below are on the Overview tab, most of them in the Quote options panel. The rest of the module page is covered in Courier settings, Rules engine, Order boxing, Multipickup and Order sync.
Show on cart
Section titled “Show on cart”- Shipping calculator title: when Transdirect returns a single quote (for example with Display cheapest), the plugin shows this title instead of the courier’s name.
- Default delivery building type: Residential or Commercial. Used when the customer has not chosen, and the plugin’s Default shipping type is set to the Transdirect account default.
Module display mode
Section titled “Module display mode”| Mode | Behaviour |

| Full Calculator Mode | Shows Transdirect rates in the cart and at checkout. With Show suburb autocomplete on in the plugin, the cart page also shows the Transdirect shipping calculator. This is the default. |
| Simplified Mode | Hides the calculator and quotes from the customer’s address. An address whose suburb and postcode do not match can return no rates. |
| No Display Mode | Shows no Transdirect rates. Every order is still sent to your members area. |
Quote display
Section titled “Quote display”Choose Display all quotes, Display cheapest, or Display cheapest and fastest. Transdirect applies this after courier settings and surcharges, and before shipping rules.
Tail lift options
Section titled “Tail lift options”Two checkboxes: Pickup - if tail lift required, include in quote and Delivery - if tail lift required, include in quote.
When the pickup option is ticked and any item weighs more than 25 kg, quotes include a tail-lift pickup, and its cost is in the price your customer sees. This is skipped when any item is longer than 240 cm. The delivery option is not currently applied to WooCommerce quotes.
General surcharge
Section titled “General surcharge”Tick Apply general surcharge to add Surcharge amount to every quote, in dollars ($) or percent (%). Percentages are applied as whole numbers. While the general surcharge is on, per-courier surcharges are ignored.
To hide transit times at checkout, untick Show delivery time in the plugin settings. Two members-area options do not affect WooCommerce: Hide ETA in shipping rates (Shopify only) and Use fixed price on quote error.
Warranty
Section titled “Warranty”Tick Include warranty on all requests via this module and enter a Transit warranty value. The plugin does not send each order’s value, so this amount is used as the declared value on every quote, whatever the cart is worth, and the warranty cost is included in the shipping price. Cover is subject to the transit warranty terms.
Default item size
Section titled “Default item size”On the Packaging tab, Default item size sets the Length (cm), Width (cm), Height (cm) and Weight (kg) Transdirect uses when a product has no dimensions or weight in WooCommerce. Any value a product does have is used as is; only the missing ones are filled in. Each side must be a positive number and at least one side must be 5 cm or more. Leave a value empty to use the standard size: 10 cm for each side and 5 kg.
