eBay postage calculator
The free Transdirect eBay postage calculator generates a Get a quote link for an eBay listing description. Buyers click it, enter their suburb or postcode, and see live Transdirect courier rates for your item, with your pickup location and parcel details already filled in.
Add the quote link to a listing
Section titled “Add the quote link to a listing”-
Open the calculator page
Go to the Transdirect eBay postage calculator.

Enter your pickup location
Under Shipping From, enter the suburb or postcode you ship from in Pickup Location, and choose Commercial or Residential.

Describe the item
Under Freight Items, choose the Package Type and enter the weight (kg), dimensions (H x W x L, in cm) and quantity. Use Add another item if the listing ships as more than one package.

Set options
Optionally tick Show cheapest only, enter a Transit Warranty Value, or add a Surcharge in dollars or percent.

Copy the link
The Calculator Links box at the bottom of the page fills in with the HTML for a Get a quote link, and the example link next to it opens the quote page your buyers will see. Click in the box to select the HTML, then copy it.

Paste it into eBay
Paste the HTML into your eBay listing’s item description, using the HTML view of the description editor. The calculator page links to a video showing how.
