eBay store integration

Connect your eBay seller account and Transdirect imports your eBay orders to the Orders page of your members area, where you quote and book them. When a booking has a consignment number, Transdirect sends the tracking number back to the eBay order.

Connect your eBay account

  1. Log in to the members area and go to Settings > Integrations.

  2. On the eBay card, click Connect. If you have already connected an account, click Add another account.

  3. eBay opens. Sign in with the seller account you want to connect and approve access for Transdirect.

  4. eBay returns you to Settings > Integrations, which shows “eBay connected successfully.” The account is listed on the eBay card as Connected.

Transdirect does not change your eBay listings. It reads your orders and adds shipment tracking to them.

The eBay card also has a Use buyer’s email for eBay orders in delivery address option. Tick it to copy the buyer’s email address into the delivery contact of each imported order.

How orders are imported

Transdirect imports new orders automatically, about every 15 minutes. There is no button to press. Imported orders appear on the Orders page, ready to quote and book.

  • Orders eBay already shows as shipped (fulfilled), and cancelled orders, are not imported.
  • Orders already in Transdirect are not imported twice.
  • eBay only releases the delivery address once the buyer pays. An order imported before payment is completed with its address on a later import, after the buyer pays.
  • The first import after you connect brings in the past 90 days of orders. After that, each import carries on from the last order imported from that seller account.

Accounts that need attention

The eBay card shows a status under each connected account:

  • Needs reconnect: eBay needs you to sign in again. Click Reconnect next to the account. Imports for that account pause until you do, and the Orders page shows eBay needs to be reconnected with a Reconnect eBay link.
  • Upgrade required for automatic imports: the account is on eBay’s older connection, which is not included in the automatic imports. Click Upgrade and sign in to eBay again to move it to the current connection.

Multiple eBay accounts

You can connect more than one eBay seller account. Each one is imported separately.

Tracking

When a booking for an imported order has a consignment number, Transdirect adds the tracking number and courier to the eBay order, so your buyer can track it from eBay.

You can also track from the members area: open Bookings and select the booking.

Disconnect an account

Section titled “Disconnect an account”

On the eBay card in Settings > Integrations, click the delete icon next to the account and confirm. Orders already imported stay in Transdirect. New orders from that account stop importing.
