Legacy reference

This extension is for Magento 1, which reached end of life in June 2020. The extension is not maintained and does not work on Magento 2 or Adobe Commerce. For a new setup, use the REST API or CSV import instead. See the Magento overview.

These are the steps for a Magento 1 store that already depends on the extension, for example when moving it to a new server.

1. Download the code from github.com/transdirect/magento.
2. Copy its app and skin folders into your Magento root, as for any manually installed Magento 1 extension, then clear the Magento cache.
3. In the Magento admin, go to System > Configuration. In the left-hand column, under Transdirect Shipping Module, click General Settings.
4. In Enable Extension, set Enable to Yes.
5. In Authentication (Member Details), enter the Email and Password you use to log in to Transdirect.
6. Click Save Config. Add a product to your cart and enter an Australian delivery address to check that Transdirect quotes appear.
