Courier settings

Courier settings control which services appear at checkout and how they are labelled and priced. Configure them during the Couriers step of onboarding, and later via AppsTransdirectSettingsCouriers.

Domestic and international line-ups are managed separately.

A store-wide surcharge can be applied from Quote options as a fixed amount or a percentage.

Toggle individual services off so they never appear in checkout rates, even if Transdirect could quote them.

SettingDescription
Display nameThe name shown to the customer at checkout. For example, rename a long service name to “Standard Delivery”.

The display name is also referred to as the group label. Giving several services the same name presents them consistently at checkout — for example, labelling Allied, TNT Road Express, and Couriers Please all as Standard Delivery.

SettingDescription
Surcharge typeFixed amount or percentage
Surcharge valueAdded to that service’s quotes, provided no general surcharge is configured

Override the live quote with a fixed checkout price for that service. A fixed price is applied before surcharges and replaces them, so the customer pays exactly the amount you set. If the real cost is higher, you absorb the difference, so monitor your margins.
