CSV field reference

This page documents every column in the Transdirect CSV import template. For multi-item orders (multiple rows sharing the same Order ID), the order-level fields are read from the first row — subsequent rows only need the Order ID and the item fields (weight, dimensions, quantity, packaging).

The template contains exactly 23 columns, in this order:

Order ID, Goods Description, Carrier, Pickup Date, Address Type, Receiver Name,
Email Address, Phone Number, Business Name, Street Address, Suburb/Town,
Postcode, State, Country, Weight, Length, Width, Height, Quantity, Packaging,
Alcohol/Glass/Liquids, Frequent Rate, Signature Required

A template-format file must contain all 23 columns in this order — a file with missing, extra, or reordered columns is rejected. If you prefer to keep your own spreadsheet layout, the importer in the members area can also map your columns to Transdirect fields when you upload, so you are not locked to the template.

Rows that fail validation are skipped and returned to you in a downloadable errors file with a message per row; the remaining rows still import.
